I hold personal training qualifications from several agencies including CanFitPro. I have a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, and I am constantly pursuing continuing education in the fitness industry.
I also possess Ambulance Emergency Care certification, First Aid and CPR.
EXPERIENCE
I have been certified as a personal trainer for over 15 years, training both privately and with various athletic organizations. My focus has always been on providing professional, quality training.
I have experience training and coaching a wide variety of clients of all ages, from beginners
to experienced athletes, with many different fitness, rehabilitation,
sport and exercise goals. I have worked at with clients at
their homes, fitness clubs, high performance training centers
and rehabilitative facilities, including the National Ballet of Canada, Shooting Stars Soccer, Ontario Powerlifting Federation, and the Sports Medicine Specialists.
ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS
I have been involved in resistance training and various other forms of exercise regularly for over 20 years. This interest and experience in the fitness industry has motivated me to constantly research new information and explore ideas that have led to the development of my training system.
My personal interests include strength athletics,
martial arts and swimming. My involvement in the strength
sports as a competitor and trainer has helped me develop effective
training techniques for improving the strength and athleticism
of my clients and myself. Read about my training

I believe that overcoming physical challenges also helps a person develop the inner strength to better tackle life’s other obstacles. I am passionate about health and fitness and I find it rewarding to assist others in expanding their participation, understanding and interest in physical activity.
